EU Court Revokes EU Sanctions On IRISL

Tehran, Dec 3, IRNA – The European Union court revoked sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) for lack of substance, director of IRISL, public relations department Alaeddin Sadat Rasoul said on Monday. He said that the concrete verdict issued by the European Union to the benefit of the IRISL prepared grounds for seeking compensation for unilateral sanctions. Sadat Rasoul said that the EU has missed legal opportunity for Appeals and the company will take legal action with the EU court to seek compensation. Over two months ago, the European Union court issued a verdict to dismiss the unjust sanctions against IRISL. He said that the Europeans could have made appeal for the verdict within 70 days, but, they didn't in due course./end
