Eurasian integration is irreversible as it is beneficial for all, says Kremlin spokesman

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Eurasian integration will keep on developing regardless of who is at the whelm of power in its member nations, Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said at a meeting with students of Moscow’s MGIMO University on Monday. "The process of Eurasian integration is in the interests of our nations and regardless of who is at the whelm of power in our countries, we can be practically one hundred percent sure that the process of its further development is irreversible," he said when asked about the perspectives of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) after the leaders of its five member nations (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan) leave their offices. He admitted that problems and difficulties are unavoidable on the path of integration, especially in the territory of the former Soviet Union. "But life proves the necessity of this integration.
