European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center hails Azerbaijani referendum

Baku, September 27, AZERTAC Vice CEO of the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center William Racimora has described the Azerbaijani constitutional referendum as “a guarantee of political stability” in the country. Speaking at a press conference, he said amendments to be made to the Constitution will strengthen civil freedoms and protect democracy. Racimora said they monitored the voting in a number of polling stations, adding that the referendum was fair and open. He said their mission did not register any irregularities during the vote count.
