Expert: Israel, Saudi regimes obstacles to nuclear deal

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 23, IRNA – Leading Malaysian analyst Chandra Muzaffar said the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia are two main obstacles on way of development of an agreement between Iran and G5+1. Speaking to IRNA, he said the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia have joined forces opposing the nuclear deal between Iran and the six world powers. Referring to the ongoing nuclear talks in Vienna, he said Israel's fear of a powerful Iran made it seek West's alliance. Despite all efforts, he noted, the West and Israel have failed to achieve their objectives and Iran is still as strong as before. He underlined that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has repeatedly inspected Iran's nuclear facilities without finding any deviations which could prove the claims of Western countries. Israel, too, has kept issuing fake and unreal reports about Iran's nuclear activities accusing Tehran of trying to make nuclear bombs, he added. He believed it is now time for the West to be convinced about the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program./end
