Expert: Settlement Of Iran Nuclear Issue, Key To Resolving Mideast Crises

Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA – An Iranian expert said the settlement of Iranˈs nuclear issue would lead to resolving many crises in the Middle East. Former member of Iranˈs nuclear negotiating team, Hossein Mousavian told IRNA that the proper settlement of Iranˈs nuclear issue would open the gates for the world community to cooperate with Iran to resolve regional crises. Noting that Iranˈs nuclear issue is a major topic of the ongoing security conference in Munich, he believed that participants in the meeting would mainly concentrate on the constructive elements contributing to settlement of the issue. He further said that the next round of talks between Iran and its western partners would be tremendously stern because of the hard content of the talks and also the sensitivity of a number of marginal issues. He explained that this is due to the fact that on the both sides there are people opposing the talks, adding that there are also certain Arab states, the terrorist MoJahedeen-e Khalq Organization (MKO) and the Zionist lobbies which are keen to see the failure of Iran-US talks so that with the new sanctions to be imposed on Iran the world will be pushed towards confronting Iran./end
