Federal Supreme Court defers case of al-Manara terrorist group to 28th September

ABU DHABI, 25th August, 2015 (WAM) – The Federal Supreme Court has decided to defer to 28th September, the hearing of the case of al-Manara terrorist group, which includes 41 suspects. The court, presided over by Judge Mohammed Al Jarah Al Tunaiji, yesterday held the first session, which was confined to procedural aspects regarding the presence of the suspects and four defence lawyers. It also decided that the four lawyers will defend four accused in the case. The public prosecution said it would address the Ministry of Justice to allow 12 accused to hire a lawyer, while accused No. 33, who was unable to attend the court session because of poor health, would be told to attend the next hearing session. – Emirates News Agency, WAM -http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395284633125.html
