Fiji, Congo FMs In Tehran For NAM Ministerial Meet

Tehran, Aug 28, IRNA – Fiji’s Foreign Minister Inoke Kubuabola and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Congo Basile Ikouébé, arrived in Tehran Tuesday morning to take part in the NAM ministerial meeting. They were accorded warm welcome by Iran’s Foreign Ministry officials upon their arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport. In related developments, vice presidents of the Philippines and Comoros arrived in Tehran on Tuesday and were welcomed by Iranian officials at the airport. The guests are to participate in the Non-Aligned Movement ministerial meeting planned for August 28-29. The 16th NAM experts meeting was held on August 26-27 in Tehran. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is to inaugurate the two-day NAM Summit meeting on Thursday./end
