Firouzabadi: Daesh, A New Ploy Of Zionist Regime

Tehran, June 18, IRNA - Chief of Staff of Iranˈs Armed Forces, Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said on Tuesday that Daesh terrorist group should be regarded as a new ploy of the Zionist regime. Through the ploy, Zionists are trying to keep the revolutionarily forces away from their borders and create a safe haven for Zionists as confessed by their media. Referring to recent developments in Iraq, he said the Iraqi government, army and people should take advantage of current situation and solidify their movement. On probable presence of US troops in Iraq, he said the Americans are not satisfied with the result of elections in Iraq and they are among main supporters of terrorist groups established during the tenure of former US president Clinton. The Americans seize any chance to nullify Iraqˈs successful election, he said adding that no oneshould pay attention to their crocodile tears as they are the real supporters of terrorists in the region. He called on the Iraqi people to remain united and labeled Daesh terrorist group as a ˈsymbol of ignoranceˈ, underlined that suppression of the group is the final option of the Iraqi nation./end
