The head of the Joint Chief of staff at the end hoped for success of the “service rendering government” in passing successfully through the dam of sanctions, and serving to the very end in the Right Path of the vicegerent of the 12th Imam (Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei). The 'government week' in Iran is marked each year, since 1981, when former Iran's president Mohammad-Ali Raja’ie, Prime Minister Mohammad-Javad Bahonar were martyred in a bomb explosion at the President’s Office in Tehran. Only a week earlier, in another terrorist bomb explosion at the office of the now dissolved Islamic Republic Party over 70 of the country’s top officials, including Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti and a large number of Parliament members had been martyred.
