Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of today, Mongolia has diplomatic relations with over 160 countries. The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold said it in a report to the media Wednesday. The Mongolians in the Republic of Korea and the Czech Republic form the largest population of Mongolians abroad. As the external relations of Mongolia have been expanding, a flow of Mongolians to foreign countries and a number of foreigners to come to Mongolia have considerably increased. It has brought both positive and negative impacts, said Mr Bold. The Foreign Ministry has been doing al it can to protect interests of the Mongolians abroad, he underlined. According to a head of the Consular Department of the Foreign Ministry Sh.Sukhbaatar, 159 Mongolians are serving sentences in 16 countries, most of them in China, and the Ministry has launched a campaign of holding personal meetings with the convicts, he added.
