FM attends open discussion of UN Security Council

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Chief diplomat of Mongolia L.Purevsuren has taken part in open discussion themed “Figuring out clashes in the Middle East and North Africa, and combating terrorism in the regions” which was organized in frames of agendas on ensuring the international peace and security. Held under an initiative of the Russian Federation who is chairing the UN Security Council, the open discussion was led by Mr Sergey Lavrov, the Russian FM. It brought together Mr Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secretary-General; Foreign Ministers of some 70 countries, members of the UN Security Council. They expressed their positions over the regional issues of the Middle East and North Africa and talked about urgent measures against terrorism in the regions.
