FM BOLD ATTENDS 20TH OSCE MINISTERIAL COUNCIL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Bold and accompanying him delegates have taken part in the 20th OSCE Ministerial Council. The session ran December 5-6 in Kiev, Ukraine. Mr Bold had bilateral talks with the president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr Ranko Krivokapic and leaders of the delegates from Slovakia, S.Korea, Spain, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, Netherlands and Thailand to share views on the issues of regional security and cooperation. Mr Bold congratulated Mr Krivokapic on his new mission and noted that Mongolia joined in the OSCE as its full member and thus has become the newest member-country of the Parliament Assembly of this organization. He gave him a letter from the Speaker of Mongolia's parliament about Mongolia's hosting OSCE's next meeting in the UB city in 2015, "by this we want to introducing Mongolia to all member- states of the organization, to increase cooperation opportunities in security sphere, to support and contribute to actions of the Parliament Assembly of the OSCE". In turn, Mr R.Krivokapic said they are glad that Mongolia joined the Parliament Assembly and expressed a confidence that Mongolia will contribute to its activities. He also highly spoke a participation of the Mongolian MPs in fall meeting of the Parliament Assembly of the OSCE first time last October in Budva city. After this he said he will support the idea of Speaker Enkhbold to host the regular meeting of the OSCE in the UB city.
