FM: Brazil applauds Azerbaijan’s pragmatic and balanced foreign policy

Baku, November 16, AZERTAC “Brazil commends Azerbaijan for its pragmatic and balanced foreign policy,” said Brazil’s Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes Ferreira as he met with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. Nunes Ferreira emphasized that his visit to Azerbaijan testifies to the importance Brazil accords to the development of cooperation with Azerbaijan. The two hailed political relations between their countries and underlined the necessity of raising the bilateral ties to a higher level. They also discussed the ways of expanding cooperation in the fields of agriculture, chemistry, food industry, tourism, science and education. Nunes Ferreira and Mammadyarov underscored the importance of intensifying reciprocal high-level visits and activity of the joint working group. Mammadyarov expressed confidence that this visit will contribute to the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil.
