FM: Iran-Turkey Share Close Strategic Viewpoints

Ankara, Nov 2, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said that Iran and Turkey have close strategic viewpoints. Upon his arrival in Ankara, Zarif told IRNA that he had meetings with Turkey’s officials in Istanbul, including President Abdullah Gul. He also called his meeting with Davutoglu in Istanbul useful, adding that closeness of viewpoints can help foreign relations of both countries. Ahmet Davutoglu also said that meeting with his Iranian counterpart in Istanbul had good results and added that they will have a meeting in Ankara, too. He said that after meeting in Ankara, the results can be explained to the reporters./end
