FM meets DPRK diplomat

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold received Tuesday Mr Kim Myong Gil, a director of the Asian Department of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on a visit here. The two sides exchanged views on the bilateral relations and cooperation and on collaborating at regional and international arenas. Mr Kim expressed thanks to Mongolia for big efforts to ensure the peace and security in Northeast Asia, and hoped that the two countries will continue their cooperation at the international level. After the meeting, Mr Bold signed a document on celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Mongolia-DPRK diplomatic relations and the 25th anniversary of the visit to Mongolia of Kim Il-sung, "the Supreme Leader and Eternal President" of N.Korea. Then he granted the document to the North Korean side. The countries established the diplomatic relations on October 15 of 1948.
