FM MEETS PRESIDENT OF JAPAN-MONGOLIA SOCIETY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold Tuesday received a delegation headed by Mr Junichi Yoshida, the president of the Japan-Mongolia Society. Mr Bold expressed a satisfaction with that the Mongolia-Japan mutual trust are strengthening and the relations and cooperation are being forwarded to the strategic partnership. He said the visit of Mongolia’s President to Japan gave impetus to our bilateral ties, especially to the economic relations. In response, Mr Yoshida thanked the FM for receiving him and said he will do all his best to develop the Mongolia-Japan ties. The society’s leader in Hitotsubashi district Yo.Shimoyamada said the society, marking its 50th anniversary, is rendering an assistance to the UB city’s 18th secondary school. The sides noted that initiatives and proposals of the two countries’ public organizations and the friendship between the two peoples have been playing an importance role in boosting of the bilateral cooperation, and agreed that it is needed to work together on fortifying a basis of the strategic partnership. Founded in 1964, the Japan-Mongolia Society is the oldest organization among other friendship organizations, it significantly contributed to establishing the bilateral diplomatic relations in 1972.
