FM participates in Mongolia-Oita forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold took part in the friendship and cooperation forum of Mongolia and Oita Prefecture of Japan which ran Wednesday in Ulaanbaatar. This forum brought together D.Sodnom, a former PM of Mongolia; S.Khurelbaatar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan; Mr Takenori Shimizu, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia; Mr Katsusada Hirose, a governor of Oita Prefecture, and others. On July 22-24 this year, Mr Bold visited Oita prefecture, which has been collaborating with Mongolia since 1985 and has supported Mongolia in running the "One settlement-one product" movement here. Within this visit, Mr Bold exchanged views with Mr Hirose, the Prefecture’s governor, Mr K.Hondo, a chairman of the Association for Mongolia-Oita Ties, and with Mr H.Kameyama, a head of the Oita-Bayankhongor society. In addition, the Minister reached agreements with Japan on introducing experiences of the Oita Brand, augmenting the number of Mongolian students in Japan, saving sources of spas, conducting a research into ground energy in Mongolia, on developing tourism.
