FM receives M.Ries

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister for Foreign Affairs L.Bold Friday received Ms Maria Edileuza Fontenelle Reis, the Undersecretary-general for Asia of the Brazilian External Relations Ministry who has arrived here to participate in the 7th Ministerial conference of CoD. Mr Bold thanked the Brazilian delegation for receiving an invitation and coming to participate in the CoD conference. He underlined Mongolia's interests to expand relations and cooperation with Brazil and added that Mongolia plans to open its embassy in Brazil. Ms Reis said the structure, management and dignity of the CoD have increased rapidly since Mongolian presidency of CoD and underlined her satisfaction with a participation in the 7th Ministerial conference of CoD. She handed to Bold a letter from the Minister of External Relations of Brazil Antonio Patriota, and said Brazilia gives an importance to expanding of a cooperation with Mongolia in the mining, culture, education, sport and agriculture sectors. She informed Mr Bold about signing a cooperation agreement in education and sports sectors thanks to which the Mongolian youth will study in Brazil and the sides will collaborate more. Ms Reis appreciated the news about opening the Mongolian Embassy in Brazil, said she will help in it and added that, in this case, Brazil can also open its Embassy here. The dignitaries stressed that their countries will continue cooperating with each other in frames of the international organizations such as UN, World Trade Organization and Forum of East Asia and Latin America Cooperation /FEALAC/. Then the sides agreed to activate the cooperation in agriculture and to initial some agreements.
