FM Spokesman Slams Terrorist Acts In Pakistan

Tehran, June 22, IRNA - Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi condemned the terrorist actions in cities of Karachi and Peshawar in Pakistan that killed and wounded a large number of defenseless Muslims. According to a report released by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday, Araqchi stressed that with no doubt, enemies of Pakistani government and nation are trying to fan the flames of sectarian disputes in the country. He strongly condemned conspiracies hatched by enemies of Islam. Araqchi also extended condolences to the nation and government of Pakistan on the sad incident and called for peace for the victims and patience for the survivors of the terrorist operations. A suicide bombing at a Pakistani Shiˈite Muslim seminary in the city of Peshawar killed at least 13 worshipers and injured 40 on Friday. More than 60 people have been killed in less than a week from attacks that included suicide bombers targeting women students, a hospital and a funeral procession./end
