FM Spokesman Strongly Condemns Attack On Muslims Holy Shrine In Syria

Tehran, July 20, IRNA – Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the holy shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (AS) on the suburbs of the Syrian capital city, Damascus, on Friday. According to Saturday report of the Foreign Ministry, Abbas Araqchi called on the international societies, the Islamic communities in particular, to fulfill their task to safeguard the Islamic sanctity and urged them to make all-out efforts to prevent repetition of such anti-human actions. Araqchi reiterated that such moves are against international and Islamic rules and regulations. Terrorist groups attacked the holy shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (AS) by mortar shells on Friday, killing and injuring several people./end
