The Egyptian newspaper Al Akhbar Almassay said: The core of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration is the idea of By Our Nation Itself. This is a brilliant fruit of HE Kim Jong Il's independent idea. He clarified in many works that the country's reunification should be realized on the principle of national independence, and had adhered to it as the consistent and unshakable stand. And he provided the first historic inter-Korean summit with his warm love for the nation and bold decision.
