Founding Anniversary of DPRK Observed in Bulgaria, Finland, Mexico

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Meetings, photo and book exhibitions, film shows and art performances took place in Bulgaria, Helsinki and Mexico between September 7 and 9 on the 68th founding anniversary of the DPRK. Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the feats of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also on display were their works and books and photos introducing the DPRK. Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" was shown. A reporter and speakers including the honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union praised Kim Il Sung for founding the DPRK. The chairman of the union said the DPRK founded by Kim Il Sung in which the Juche idea is thoroughly embodied is a socialist country centred on the popular masses. The international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League and the chairman of the Finland-Korea Society praised Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as the great leaders who founded the DPRK and strengthened it into a socialist state of Juche centred on the popular masses. The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico noted that Kim Jong Un is leading to victory the struggle of the Korean army and people for building a socialist power, holding high the banner of Songun. Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Bulgaria and Finland. -0-
