FRANCE TO HELP MONGOLIA TO TRAIN PROSECUTORS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the Presidential Office P.Tsagaan Thursday received Mr Xavier Ronsin, a director of the French National School for the Judiciary (FNSJ), and Mr Anthony Manwaring, a vice director of the school and chairman of the external relations department. Established in 1959, the FNSJ has been cooperating with Mongolia since 2011, and it currently has 8,000 students. The delegates said the school will run a training for Mongolian prosecutors in accordance with a memorandum that will be established between the FNSJ and the General Prosecutorial Authority (GPA). They also expressed a satisfaction with the cooperation with Mongolia. Mentioning that the two countries are celebrating this year the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations, Mr Tsagaan said Mongolian students studied abroad for the first time in France and Germany in 1926. He is glad about the above training, he said and hoped that it will contribute to the reforms of Mongolian juridical sector.
