French MP Warns Attack On Iran Will Destabilize Entire Region

Paris, Nov 27, IRNA – French Member of National Parliament Didier Julia said on Saturday that any military attack on Iran will disparage the balance of power in the Middle East and will destabilize the entire region. He told IRNA in an interview that any hostile action against Iran will be a historical mistake causing irreparable damage. Julia said that all efforts must be made to prevent hostility in the Middle East. Commenting on the media speculation on Israeli attempt to target Iranian nuclear sites, he said that any attempt on Iranian nuclear sites will bring adverse consequences and strong response from Iran. He dismissed the Israeli propaganda that Iran's nuclear technology will be detrimental to the Middle East and said that it is a wrong analysis by Tel Aviv regime about Iranian nuclear program. He made it clear that Iranian nuclear program is for civilian purpose, adding that the nuclear weapons are a means to dissuade any attacker from invasion of another country so that if a country attacks the other with nuclear arms, it must expect to be attacked with bombs 10 times sronger than its own. Julia said that the Israeli mentality about Iranian nuclear program runs counter to the reality and is based on illusion./end
