Gaza victory realization of Divine promise

TEHRAN, Oct. 18 (MNA) – Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said Palestinian resistance defense capabilities should be strengthened. The Leader of the Islamic Republic received Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine Ramadan Abdullah on Thursday. In the meeting Ayatollah Khamenei expressed happiness over recent victory of Gazans against Israeli regime and described the victory as realization of ‘Divine promise.’ “The Islamic Republic of Iran and its people are proud of your resistance and victory and we hope these victories will continue to final triumph,” stated the Leader Iran’s Leader dubbed the 51-day Gaza war as important and astounding during which Israeli regime surrendered to the resistance despite its advanced weaponry. Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the western part of Palestine should also be part of the resistance against Israel and highlighted that “war against the Israeli regime is war of destiny and the enemy should feel the same worries in the West Bank as it does in Gaza.” He also expressed concern that the Israeli assault might occur again and asserted that the Palestinian resistance should strengthen itself and improve power sources inside Gaza.” Abdullah, for his part, extended to the Leader the greetings of senior officials from Islamic Jihad and other Palestinian resistance groups, and presented a report on the latest Israeli war on Gaza. “Obviously this victory was made possible by the support of Iran and it couldn’t have happened if it wasn’t the strategic and influential aids from Iran.” Abdullah asserted that victory of resistance is in fact victory of all Palestinians and in spite of the unfair war, resistance and patience of the Palestinians had been exemplary.
