Gazans Resistance To Annihilate Zionist Regime: Minister

Tehran, July 14, IRNA – Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said on Monday that the Zionist regime will be brought to its knees by the resistance of the people in Gaza. Condemning the Zionist regimeˈs latest atrocities against defenseless civilians in Gaza during the holy fasting month of Ramadan, Dehqan regretted that the silence of the Islamic states vis-à-vis occupation, aggression and genocide of the Zionist regime has encouraged the usurper regime to continue its crimes against innocent Palestinians. The minister said he was surprised why the so-called human rights advocates who even support the rights of animals, have kept silence regarding the Israeli crimes. Dehqan said presently, the Zionist regime and the terrorist group of Daesh, also known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) backed by Takfiris, Baathists and Zionists, are acting against Muslims in Syria, Iraq and Palestine in a coordinated move aimed at creating a deep crisis in the region. The minister stressed that world Muslims will properly react to Tel Avivˈs crimes by attending the International Quds Day rallies against the usurper regime of Israel. The International Quds Day is marked annually by world Muslims on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan which falls this year on July 25. The occasion was initiated by the Father of the Islamic Revolution the late Imam Khomeini in 1979. Latest reports coming from Gaza said over 160 Palestinians mostly women and children have been killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza, started on July 8./end
