Georgian Prime Minister hails Azerbaijan visit

Tbilisi, September 2, AZERTAC “My visit to Azerbaijan was very fruitful and successful,” Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has told journalists. “Our countries are bound together by important strategic ties and long friendship. During the meetings with President Ilham Aliyev and Premier Artur Rasizade we discussed the issues of strengthening friendly relations and developing our contacts.“ He said that Azerbaijan and Georgia were implementing “strategically important” economic projects. “We also discussed the construction of the Southern Gas Corridor, Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline and Trans Adriatic Pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad, and reached important agreements.” “I can say that the visit to Baku and the negotiations we held were important to us,” the Georgian Premier added.
