Germany Hails ˈVery Goodˈ Iran Nuclear Talks In Vienna

Berlin, Feb 22, IRNA -- A German foreign ministry spokeswoman here Friday hailed the latest agreement between Iran and six powers on a roadmap for talks to resolve the impasse on Tehranˈs nuclear program. Addressing a routine government press briefing in Berlin, Sawsan Chebli said the three-day talks in the Austrian capital were ˈvery good, constructive, substantial and intenseˈ. She highlighted the fact that all aspects of Iranˈs nuclear program needed to be addressed for a final nuclear deal, were discussed in Vienna. Chebli termed the timetable for the next round of talks ˈrather ambitiousˈ. Technical experts from Iran and the six involved countries (Russia, the US, China, Britain, France and Germany) will meet in early March, which will be followed by a March 17 meeting in Vienna between European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, top diplomats from the Group 5+1, and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif./end
