Germany Ready To Talk With Iran

Berlin, Sept 22, IRNA – German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, in an interview with a German Daily, by welcoming Iran’s officials new tone, said Berlin is ready for talks with Tehran. He expressed hope for progress in negotiations related to Iran’s nuclear program and said he welcomed the new tone heard from Tehran. The minister stressed that the new tone indicates a new move in complicated talks between Iran and the West about nuclear program. Westerwelle, who is engaged in Germany's national parliament election, underlined that Berlin is ready for talks with Tehran and it will be clear soon that the new tone from Tehran is an indication of a serious intention to find a wise settlement. He expressed hope that the UN General Assembly annual meeting in New York could remove crises./end
