Germany Welcomes Iran N-agreement

Berlin, Nov 24, IRNA - German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on Sunday hailed the nuclear accord between the six world powers (Britain, France, Germany, China, Russia and the United States) and Iran, branding it a "turning point." The German chief diplomat said a political agreement on initial substantial steps had been reached in Geneva aimed at ending the nuclear dispute. Westerwelle called on the West and Iran to rebuild mutual trust over the next months. He also urged a transparent and verifiable implementation of the accord and a swift continuation of negotiations geared at a final resolution of the nuclear row. Iran and six world powers sealed an agreement on an interim nuclear deal in Geneva late Saturday following four days of tough negotiations./end
