The Al-Nahda leader sympathized with the bereaved family members of the event, prayed for fast recovery of the injured victims, and emphasized the need for evermore strengthening of Islamic unity and solidarity. The Iranian ambassador to Tunisia, too, appreciated Rashid Ghannouchi for his expressed sympathy and said: “The main culprit of this criminal act, the Zionist regime, will by no means mange to disturb the unity of the Ummah (Islamic nation).” Jebeli emphasized that such moves only lead to greater segregation of the Zionist regime and its regional mercenaries. Takfiri terrorists on Tuesday morning launched twin suicidal bombing attacks in Beirut in front of the Iranian embassy, which led to death of 23 innocent people, including six Iranians, and wounding 150 others. There were old folks, women, and children among the victims.
