Gul: Iran, Turkey play influential role in solving regional problems

Ankara, Jan 31, IRNA – Turkish President Abdullah Gul said Tehran and Ankara play influential role in resolving problems in the region. President Gul made the remarks here Wednesday when he was meeting with the outgoing Iranian Ambassador Bahman Hosseinpour. He said Iran and Turkey could employ their massive potentials to resolve regional issues. President Gul also referred to his numerous friendly meetings with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and expressed hope brotherly ties between the two countries would continue. Hosseinpour thanked Turkish officials for their goodwill and friendly supports which helped promote all-out bilateral ties.
