Helpful clarifications on sanction removal from US, Europe: Araghchi

TEHRAN, Apr. 25 (MNA) – Senior member of Iran's nuclear negotiating team announced that Iranian and European negotiators began to write the Comprehensive Joint Plan of Action. Iranian Deputy FM Seyed Abbas Araghchi, while noting that Fresh talks in Vienna aimed at finalizing a nuclear deal between Iran and 5+1, said Iran’s focus would be on the lifting of sanctions and possible intervention by US Congress. Pointing to the different aspects of the debate on Iran’s nuclear program, Araghchi said, “Several questions have been raised about the sanctions at the current stage which need more discussions during the talks underway in Vienna.” Iran’s Deputy FM, in response to the question of whether the ambiguities regarding the removal of sanctions have been discussed with the American side, said both US and Europe offered helpful clarifications on the issue, adding that drafting of the text had begun. Iranian and 5+1 diplomats who are in Vienna, Austria, for another round of nuclear talks, are negotiating to fill the gaps in an April 2 framework agreement on Iran's nuclear program in return for relief from international sanctions.
