Hezbollah: Potential US Syria Attack Act Of Terrorism

Beirut, Sept 7, IRNA – Probable US military intervention Lebanese Hezbollah Islamic Resistance Movements parliamentary faction said Friday any type of US military intervention in Syria will be systematic state sponsored terrorism. The Hezbollah parliamentary fraction made the comment in a statement issued following its weekly meeting in which they have rejected a baseless lie the US accusation against Syria on use of chemical weapons against its own people, saying that the US-led attack would pose a serious security threat against the entire Middle East region. The statement reads that regardless of the intentions behind the probable US attack, it is a serious threat against the international peace and security, and therefore it is seriously condemned. The Lebanese Hezbollah faction parliamentary delegation have also argued that such an attack would also reveal the real intention of the US, which is strengthening its domineering hegemony over the region. The US will for direct intervention in Syria also prove the hidden hand of the US during the past 30 months in the Syria crisis./end
