IAEA Chief, Iran Nuclear Negotiator To Meet Monday

Vienna, Oct 26, IRNA – A source at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced that IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano and a member of Irans nuclear team Abbas Araqchi would meet on October 28 in Vienna. The meeting would take place at the venue of the IAEA. The new round of Iran-IAEA talks would then be held at the same place and on the same day 30 minutes after Amano’s meeting with Araqchi, the source added. Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi has recently expressed hope that at the end of the new round of talks between officials of Iran and the IAEA, the two sides would reach an agreement on new modalities. The first round of Iran-IAEA talks was held on September 27 in Vienna in a positive atmosphere./end
