IAEA Official: No Deviation In Iranˈs Nuclear Program

Tehran, Sept 10, IRNA – Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Tero Varjoranta once again reiterated that no deviation has been seen in Iranˈs nuclear program. Varjoranta made the remarks in a technical session of the IAEA in Vienna, Austria, on Tuesday. He recalled the recent visit of IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano to Iran and his meetings with senior Iranian officials, and said, 'We will soon hold another technical meeting in this regard.' Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative at the IAEA Reza Najafi explained about Iran-IAEA cooperation, and said this is sign of full transparency of Iran's nuclear program. 'Working with the IAEA is on its normal path and it is making progress despite the hue and cry by the media,' Najafi said./end
