Important Guests Of UNAOC Meet In Vienna

Vienna, Feb 27, IRNA – Austrian media called Salehi, Ban-Ki Moon and Erdogan as the most important guests of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations meeting here. Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is to arrive in Vienna to attend the meeting. The UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon and Turkeyˈs Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan are among other participants of the meeting. The world meeting of the UNAOC is to kick off its 2-day work on Wednesday February 27, 2013 in Vienna, capital of Austria. The UNAOC was established in year 2005 by the UN General Assembly approval as an affiliated sector . The aim of the alliance is to hold cultural dialogue beyond national borders. These meetings have been held in Madrid, Istanbul, Rio de Janeiro and Doha so far. It is predicted that officials from 135 member states of the alliance and more than one thousand cultural and political personalities attend the meeting. Representatives from civil societies and non-governmental organizations as well as media persons will attend the meeting, too.
