In an exclusive interview with IRNA Chaudhary Mateen Ahmed, MLA of Delhi Assembly said: “Peace-building initiative by Iran and overwhelmingly adoption at UNGA, has enlighten a ray of hope for peace, love and joy in the midst of a trouble filled world”. He said this is an opportunity for countries which voted in favor, to showcase their unity and make constructive efforts in implementing the initiative towards establishment of sustainable global peace. The Indian politician reiterated that Iran has proved it is a peace-loving country and have faith in “live and let live” which is the basic principle of the proposal. Mateen, the senior leader of Indian National Congress, urged the UN and countries in favor of the WAVE, not only to praise but stand with Iran’s efforts in its implementation. “Denounce the countries, with specific regard to the pursuit of world peace, shedding blood, attacking and occupying other countries,” he suggested.
