Indian PM Condemns Terrorists Attack At Church In Pakistan

New Delhi, Sept 23, IRNA -- India’s Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, Sunday condemned the terror attack at a Church in Pakistan's Peshawar city in which at least 78 people were killed and around 130 others injured. Calling it yet another deeply disturbing manifestation of the evil forces of terror, he said such barbaric acts are against the tenets of every religion. The fact that the attack took place at a place of worship and claimed the lives of dozens of innocent worshipers makes this senseless act of violence even more tragic,” the Prime Minister said in a statement. “India condemns the terrorist attack in Peshawar in the strongest terms. We convey our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish speedy recovery to the injured, he added. Two Taliban suicide bombers attacked the historic All Saints Church at Kohati Gate area of Peshawar after Sunday prayers, killing at least 78 people, including women and children, in the deadliest attack./end
