Indian PM confirms plans to attend BRICS, SCO summits - Kremlin

MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed plans to participate in the summits of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin press service said on Wednesday. Putin and Modi also discussed the development of Russian-Indian strategic partnership and major bilateral trade and economic projects, the press service said. The summits will take place in Ufa, the capital of the Volga Republic of Bashkiria, in July. Read more
