NEW DELHI, July 5 /TASS/. Indian Prime Minister will hold separate bilateral meetings with every BRICS /Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa/ leader at the forthcoming summit in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan /Russia/. I am going to meet each leader separately and will take part in meetings with entrepreneurs and the heads of other countries, the Indian prime minister said in a statement distributed in New Delhi on July 4. The Indian premier did not say what exactly he would discuss with the Russian president. But a TASS source close to the Indian Foreign Ministry said that the talks would dwell on all aspects of bilateral relations and implementation of projects under agreements reached during President Vladimir Putin’s visit to New Delhi in December. After the summit, the BRICS leaders will have a common meeting with the presidents of countries members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Customs Union, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan as well as the leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Russia took over the BRICS presidency in April. The VII BRICS summit to be held in Ufa on July 8-9 will be the main event of the Russian presidency. Read more
