Int’l Quds Day Symbol Of Rights Of Oppressed Palestinians: Qummi

New Delhi, Aug 3, IRNA – International Quds Day is a symbolic struggle for the liberation of Baitul Muqaddas from the clutches of Zionist Regime and to expressed solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people, said Maulana Sibte Mohammad Shabir Qummi Friday in Srinagar. The Chairperson of Pairwane-e-Wilayat stated this while addressing the rally to mark the International Quds Day in Srinagar Valley in India’s Jammu and Kashmir state. He said that Imam Khomeini (RA), the leader of the Islamic Revolution, by designating the last Friday of Ramazan as International Quds Day, has urged the Muslims worldwide to support the oppressed Palestinian people and the Palestinian peoples rights. Condemning the Zionist regime’s continued atrocities against the oppressed Palestinian people, the Shiite scholar asked the Muslims to follow the guidelines of Imam Khomeini (RA) and come under one banner to fight against the US and Israeli regimes aggression. The aggression of the US and Israeli regime is not only a danger to the Middle East but the whole world, he added. At the end of the rally, the participants while chanting slogans against America and Israeli regime, burned the flags of both the bullying powers./end
