Intergovernmental agreements on transportation approved

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting held Monday discussed and approved Mongolia-China intergovernmental agreements on allowing Mongolia to reach a seaport and to make transit transportation through territories of China; and on the bilateral cooperation in the railway transit transportation. These agreements were established during a state visit of Xi Jinping, the President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to Mongolia in August of 2014. The agreements reflect beneficial clauses for Mongolia such as the routes for transporting Mongolian products, their sizes, tariff preferences and tax terms. Moreover, the number of seaports to be used by Mongolia is augmented by the agreements, contributing to an economic development of Mongolia.
