Interior Min.: Iran, Russia Influential Countries In World, Region

Tehran, Jan 21, IRNA – Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said here Monday that Iran and Russia are considered as influential countries in the entire region and in the whole world. Mohammad Najjar made the remarks after a meeting with his visiting counterpart Vladimir Kolokoltsev in Tehran. He noted that the two counties would ink a security agreement during Kolokoltsev tow-day stay in Tehran. The Iranian minister reiterated that the two countriesˈ leaders are determined to further boost all-out relations, stressing that Tehran-Moscow political, economic and social cooperation are on the rise. Kolokoltsev, heading a delegation, is visiting Tehran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart. This is the first trip of a Russian interior minister to Iran following the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution./end
