Iranˈs missile, defensive might not negotiable: General

Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA - Deputy Chairman of Iranian Armed Forces’ Chief of Staff Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri said Iranˈs defense and missile capabilities are non-negotiable. He said Iranˈs missile and defense programs could never be discussed with any alien circles. Making the remarks in reaction to the recent remarks of the US officials, he stressed that Iran will never let the US or any other countries to poke their noses in the countryˈs defense issues. The general noted that Iran will certainly use its defense capabilities against enemies anytime the need arises. Saying that the US should beware of Iranian missiles if it decides to cross the red line, he said Iranˈs military power is developed to defend the Islamic nation. The time for the US to regard itself as a superpower is long gone but unfortunately some tend to ignore the fact, he said.
