Iranˈs Role In Lebanon, Constructive: UN Official

Beirut, May 20, IRNA – United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly called Iranˈs role in Lebanon as constructive. He made the remarks in a meeting with Iranˈs Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi. Hailing Tehranˈs positive role in Lebanon and the whole region, Plumbly referred to Iran a good partner for the UN. Roknabadi, for his part, noted that Tehran has always advocated convergence among regional states.
