Iran 1st VP Officially Welcomes Syria PM To Tehran

Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA – Iran First Vice President Ishaq Jahangiri officially welcomed Prime Minister of Syria Wael Nader Al-Halqi to Tehran Saturday morning. He offered the Syrian guest an official welcome in Tehran’s Sa’adabad Palace during which the two officials reviewed a guard of honor in the historical and cultural place. Al-Halqi is here on his sixth visit to meet and confer with Iranian officials. Upon his arrival in Tehran on Friday, he said he is carrying the message of Syrian government and nation to Iran for its recent achievement in nuclear talks in Geneva. He also said that he is in Tehran to review regional issues with the Iranian officials and consolidate ties with Tehran. A number of ranking Syrian officials are accompanying the prime minister during his visit./end
