Iran-5+1 Group Agreement, Big Success For Both Sides: Belgian Envoy

Tehran, Nov 25, IRNA – Belgian Ambassador to Iran Francois del Marmol said on Sunday that the deal clinched by Iran and 5+1 Group is a great success for both sides. In a meeting with a member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Abbasali Mansouri, the ambassador hoped that Iran-Belgium ties would further develop. Referring to the talks between Iran and 5+1 Group in Geneva, the ambassador described the deal as a great success for both parties. Mansouri, for his part, underlined promotion of bilateral ties between the two countries’ parliaments and said that promoting Tehran-Brussels ties will benefit both nations. “Iran’s strategic situation in the region and its high capacities in the fields of economy, trade and technology and Belgium’s significance for being the capital of the European Union will pave the way for developing mutual cooperation. The two countries’ capacities for developing bilateral relations are high, which should be utilized in line with mutual interests, he said./end
