Iran-Afghanistan Review Expansion Of Mutual Co-op

Tehran, July 10, IRNA – Visiting Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Ershad Ahmadi conferred on Tuesday with Iranˈs Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs, Ali Abdullahi on expansion of cooperation between the two countries. The Afghan official, in the meeting, thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its warm hospitality towards Afghan refugees and called for continued cooperation between the two countries to help ease visa issuance to those Afghan nationals willing to travel to Iran. Abdullahi, for his part, said the Islamic Republic of Iran calls for restoration of stability and security to Afghanistan as the countryˈs stability guarantees the tranquility of its neighboring country. Some 200,000 Afghan nationals are now benefiting from insurance services like Iranian nationals, he said./end
