Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia agree on cooperation between intelligence services - Iranian foreign minister

BAKU, April 7. /TASS/. Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia have agreed on cooperation between intelligence services, as well as in the framework of other sectoral ministries, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said on Thursday after a meeting with his Russian and Azerbaijani counterparts Sergey Lavrov and Elmar Mammadyarov. "Several sectoral ministries are already involved in the process of trilateral cooperation, including between intelligence services," Zarif said. "Our specialists are already working. The foundation has been laid, and it is good," he added. There are also opportunities to develop cooperation in the sphere of transport - road and sea transport, he noted. "We agreed on joint work of consular and customs services in the trilateral format, and coordinated issues in the sphere of business in the private sector. This will be a driving forces behind development of our relations," Zarif concluded. Read more
